Nestled in the southern community of Minneapolis, Tangletown gets its name from the winding streets that run through the neighborhood; much different than the grid-like areas seen throughout the rest of the city.  Most homes were built between 1900 and 1940, so you’ll find Tudor and colonial revivals, bungalows, and a few Victorian style homes throughout the neighborhood. There’s also a batch of modern lustron metal houses. You’ll also see some mid-century style homes along Minnehaha Creek. Unfortunately, apartments and condos are a bit harder to find in this area.
